What does Putin want that would make him end the war?

The goals he set at the start of Russia's invasion appear to have been watered down during the course of a war that he assumed would be swiftly won. He could not even admit it was an invasion or a war preferring the fiction of a "special military operation".

breaking news: 6 people rescued as 2 were taken to hospital one of them having serious burns. Through out last night and early morning Bodmin firefighters battled against a fire that broke out in the newly refurbished Bodmin jail. The fire was reported at 11:45 and was extinguished at 6:15 this morning. Bad damage in the main cell block, possibly started in the kitchen. However the police are still unsure.
